Following the Bradford City stadium fire in May 1985, legislation on ground safety at all football grounds was brought in effect, this eventually led to the closure of the Mold Road stand because it did not reach the necessary safety standards. Led by Dixie McNeil, Wrexham reached the Fourth Division play-offs in 1989, having finished seventh in the league. Wrexham beat Scunthorpe United in the semi-final 5–1 on aggregate, but narrowly lost to Leyton Orient 2–1 in the final. After Wrexham started the next season with just 3 wins from 13 league games, Dixie McNeil resigned before his inevitable sacking.
Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I’ve just recently read your comment.
I’m also a nurse (kind of – Healthcare Assistant) in a public hospital.
Also I’ve been a competitive bodybuilder for years.
You said you’ve been training for about 10 months. I suppose, now it’s gonna be 2,5 years.
If you want to be/are a serious bodybuilder or going to the gym just to improve size and quality of your muscles,
don’t worry about weights you use (namely numbers). You’re doing good as long as
they’re heavy enough FOR YOU to perform 6 correct reps and as long as you increase them, even slowly and carefully (to avoid injuries).
A Powerlifter or Weightlifter may want to impress others with weights he uses (because this is their main goal)
but Bodybuilder doesn’t have to. Of course increase of strength is very important in bodybuilding but this is
a secondary goal.
By now you probably know your body’s/muscles’ responses to weight training –
-which muscle groups respond well and which are more stubborn.
As a bodybuilder you need to “listen” to your body in order to give it adequate “regime” so to speak.
Don’t COPY bodybuilding champions’ routines as they’ve been good for THEM.
Everybody is different, unique.
However, in your personal programme you can use some hints, ideas, tricks and methods that advanced bodybuilders use, give them some time and see if it works for YOU.
Prioritize YOUR weak and stubborn muscle on your training sessions.
Namely, train them first, when you have most energy.
Of course after a good warm-up (to lower a risk of injury).
When ir comes to nutrition today’s commercialized bodybuilding generation puts too much emphasis
on suplements. They’re just SUPLEMENTS to right nutrition and not basics or substitute.
They work (still some of them, not all) only if you stick to bases – right diet.
Coming back to training, this is split routine that I’ve been doing for long time and it worked for me:
Hi everyone, we had a beautiful walk this morning. I would say we had about 70 people. We walked happy miles. I met two new ladies this morning and they stated that they would come and train at the gym with me. Well you know that made me very happy. We had a beautiful guest to travel from Houston, Texas to walk with us. Her name is Tosha Evans. She took pictures and we did a video for a radio station. Everyone was happy to participate. What would I do without my "Fitness ... Son" , Chauncey Whitehead because he works hard in helping me to keep the walk going. The walk was started July 6th, 2013 and we have never missed a month. Also what would Chauncey and I do without all of you because without your eagerness to come each month there would not be a walk. Remember ALL of you make me keep on this "Fitness Journey' .Before leaving home this morning I sang my usual song to my husband, 'Oh I can't sit down" he looked up at me and said stay happy and don't worry about me I am in God's hands. When he said that to me I got a little sad and wanted to cry because I was leaving him home in caught the look on my face and smile you can do it. I thought about something Og Mandino had written. I stopped for a minute to find it and I sat and read it out loud. "Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your Creator, another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday. Be a self starter .Let your first hour set the theme of success and positive action that is certain to echo through your entire day. Today will never happen again. Don't waste it with a false start or no start at all. You were not born to fail." After I finished reading that my husband said dry those tears and sad thoughts and be on your way. Maybe what Og Mandino wrote will help you as it helped me this morning. I love you and God Bless. I have the correct day that I will be On Steve Harvey's For Ever Young. July 12th.
