Most studies of complementary and alternative medicine in the treatment of cancer pain are of low quality in terms of scientific evidence. Studies of massage therapy have produced mixed results, but overall show some temporary benefit for reducing pain, anxiety, and depression and a very low risk of harm, unless the patient is at risk for bleeding disorders. There is weak evidence for a modest benefit from hypnosis, supportive psychotherapy and cognitive therapy . Results about Reiki and touch therapy were inconclusive. The most studied such treatment, acupuncture, has demonstrated no benefit as an adjunct analgesic in cancer pain. The evidence for music therapy is equivocal, and some herbal interventions such as PC-SPES, mistletoe, and saw palmetto are known to be toxic to some cancer patients. The most promising evidence, though still weak, is for mind–body interventions such as biofeedback and relaxation techniques.
1) Hair loss remedies with Minoxidil. This is a hypertensive vasodilator medication which stops hair loss. This FDA approved ingredient is contained in most topical hair fall medicines for men and women. Among the most popular ones is Rogaine . This is one of the widely accepted products for hair loss but be forewarned that the intensity of minoxodil for women is much less than that for men. One has to be careful in applying this product because misuse can result to unwanted hair growth on other body parts. It may also cause eye irritation and itching around the treated area.
I’ve had moobs since the age of 13 and I have been embarrassed shirtless and would love to go swimming which I love but will never do. I am now 46 and really thinking of going abroad for surgery. I had tried everything and when I was younger I was very good at various sports and was very active but since the moobs I decided to become overweight to cover up these ridiculous boobs. The latest surgery maybe the best solution but hope it works. If the surgeon can do miracles for me then this will be the best gift for me since last 30 years.
